How do I get started?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Tomball Pregnancy Center! Please call 832-559-7817 to schedule a meeting with our Client Care Coordinator to tour of our facility. After your meeting, you'll be able to determine where you might be best suited. You'll then be required to complete our volunteer application packet.

Once your application has been processed, you'll receive a call regarding the status of your application.  If there is a mutual feeling of placement, we can coordinate the start of your training in our volunteer training program.

Below are just a few ways in which you can help at our center!

Board Member
Effective board leadership and governance helps our organization operate to its fullest capacity.  Their support and knowedge encompasses the very core of our center.  Each member contributes in varying degrees of knowledge and expertise.

Assist in presorting our incoming donations to prepare them for replenishment, restocking, and overall organization.  This is a vital role that helps our clients have a great shopping experience.

Church Liaison
A church liaison helps to promote our services by generating awareness and enthusiasm within their church.  This may include the coordination of fundraising for our two major events, or something as simple as a diaper drive.

Providing assistance for our office needs may consist of making copies for our packet forms, curriculum, or pregnancy test bags, as well as data entry, answering phones and file retention.

Committee Members
We have two major fundraising events each year.  Our Gala is held in the spring and our 5K Run and Family Walk is in the fall.  Enjoy the fellowship as a committee member by helping our staff and other volunteers coordinate for these exciting events!

Medical Volunteers

Are you a physician, sonographer or nurse? Use your professional abilities to help us build healthy families

Preparing for a role as a consultant requires a much more extensive process in our training program.  Once completed, you will become a one-on-one peer counselor to educate clients, discuss pregnancy options, provide support or even facilitate a class.

Facility Management
Assist with the day-to-day tasks of housekeeping and organization, or be a part of the team that manages the simple projects around the center. This may involve facility maintenance, inspections or janitorial tasks.

Serve as a host/hostess for our smaller events such as appreciation parties, meetings or special events.  Assist with food/snacks and refreshments, set up and/or take down.

Prayer Partner
Our prayer partners are committed to praying for the specific needs of our clients, volunteers and staff.  Join us for one of our daily devotionals or provide a message and lead us in prayer before our doors open.

Sexual Risk Avoidance Advocate
Become one of our sexual integrity advocates by sharing the message of sexual risk avoidance to youth groups, schools, parents or community events.
